In particular, Adinda expressed that they both felt extremely lucky and grateful that Vinny’s family managed to come over all the way from Los Angeles to share in the happy moment. Adinda looked stunningly beautiful in a kebaya by Indonesian fashion designer Didit Hediprasetyo. The top consists of his signature bustier covered with French lace and the songket for the skirt came from Bandar Lampung, a nod to the heritage of the Bakrie family.
“Didit is one of my dearest friends and he made the whole outfit out of love,” Adinda gushed. “I was in awe when I said Didit’s sweet, sweet effort to find that songket for me out of respect and love for me and my family. His work is immaculate.” Vinny, meanwhile, looked dashing and gentlemanly in a light brown suit by Prada.
It made for the perfect match for Adinda’s kebaya, imbuing the solemn occasion with a strong sense of harmony.
No less important, however, was the way the wedding was celebrated, particularly with regards to the need for social distancing and other precautions that started all the way back in March. On that note, Adinda and Vinny’s wedding was appropriately kept solemn and simple, with only select family members and close friends in attendance. Yet, these arrangements did nothing to take away from the intimacy and joy of the day, as evident in photos taken during the proceedings. The sight of Kierra and Kellan hugging their parents right after the ceremony when they were no longer able to contain their happiness was a particularly memorable highpoint.
